Following their surprise August gig in Pennsylvania, the Borowski Bros. went on hiatus. Younger brother Gerry got married and pursued his dream of selling custom-printed mylar laminated index dividers to law firms. Older brother Boris (a.k.a. Bo) mostly watched TV.
Nobody thought they’d stay away for long, but the fan community was still shocked when recordings from a stealth Jer-Z gig on Friday night went into circulation over the weekend. The boys sound reinvigorated, even if somebody should’ve suggested to Bo that he tune his guitar. They’ll be playing two or three more gigs at the barn before the year is out, and hopefully will have shaken their current obsession with guitar-ified Billy Joel covers before then.
