You have forgotten one thing about the Red Sox, they already swallowed 7 million to dump Manny. And, they did the same type of thing for Renteria. So, the Red Sox might be willing to eat some of Lugo’s contract to dump him.
I don’t mind Lugo, but he was never the money the Sox gave him, and now the pressure of playing in Boston may have forced him to change his name. Lugo should just legally change his name to Otto Matic-Out.
