Riding the storm out

«Eric Ditmore spent $134.18 at Shell Complete Stop for items that included a bottle of vodka, two cases of beer, cigarettes and chewing tobacco. On Thursday, he was evacuated from an offshore platform at which he worked and has been staying here since in a motel.
Mr. Ditmore planned to spend the remainder of Monday drinking vodka and eating canned southwestern chicken at his motel with a friend.»
