I’m not sure who exactly reads this, but here goes. I’m usually don’t feel the need to respond to articles, but the apparent lack of baseball knowledge perturbed me a great deal. The Dud-ville article you wrote made very little sense and left me stunned to say the least. First off, the fact that you put a back-up catcher on the list is ridiculous. You could put almost any backup catcher, third baseman, first baseman, or outfielder on that list and justify it. Second off, one of the few things I do agree with is the two pitchers. They are both older pitchers trying to finesse their way through the final years of their careers. Thirdly, the fact that you would include Andruw Jones and Tony Pena, Jr. on the list gives away the fact that you have very little baseball knowledge, simply don’t pay attention to the SportsCenter Top 10 list every one or two months, or were rushing to meet a deadline and had nothing else to write about. The two of them rank near the top of their positions defensively in each of their respective leagues. Pena has also made some of the most spectacular plays at shortstop this year if you don’t believe me maybe take a look back at that Cleveland series that you most likely missed, and both of them, despite their hitting, continue to provide plenty of defense despite the dismal offense. I doubt this will be read by anyone at Sportsline, but I felt the need to inform you that the need for such a ridiculous article with little or no basis. I, as a 16 year old high school student, could provide your website with a higher quality, better brand of sports knowledge than Mr. Dobrow could with his farcicle articles.
