What the heck: Apparently I missed my first blogiversary and allowed this site’s special day to pass without having indulged in cake or sober self-assessment. The one chance I have to pat myself on the back and loudly proclaim my semi-adequacy to the world, and I miss the boat. That’s so me.

I’ve enjoyed farting around here, though. It’s like a warm-up lap for my real work, such as it is. And, oh!, the memories. Like that one time I read a book, or the time I saw a movie, or the time I encountered a whimsically packaged box of cereal.

In short, I’ve wasted my life. So thanks for reading, all 2.35 of you.
